We often see weekdays as a grind and live for the weekend to come. It’s not a healthy mindset. Find some extra time to do something enjoyable on weekdays, too, even if it’s just cozying up to watch a show in the evening.

Gardening is a relaxing activity that helps calm and focus you. Plus, you get to see the benefits of your work as flowers bloom, vegetables grow, etc., yielding a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Extensive research has shown that smoking takes years off a person’s life. Quitting is not only good for your health but also saves money and makes you feel better. The same holds true for alcohol. Since it’s so ingrained in our culture, it may be hard to quit entirely, but cutting back and moderating will do a lot of good.

Knocking Off at Least One Chore per Day
