Want a 100% Remote Job? Here Are 15 Things You Need To Do To Get One

Published:

Demand for remote work has shot way up in recent years, and its popularity only seems to be growing. People love skipping out on the time, stress, and expense of commuting. They also don’t miss office politics and set schedules. Landing a good remote job is easier said than done, though, so here are some tips about how to get one:

Build Experience and Qualifications

Although much of the workforce is eagerly embracing remote work, a lot of people in management aren’t. They’ll be more willing to consider hiring you for remote positions if you have verifiable experience, qualifications, certifications, etc. that show you really do know what you’re doing.

Prove Your Reliability

Another way to convince a reluctant supervisor is to build a reputation of reliability and trust. It starts in the office, but it continues when you get your first chance to work remotely. Showing you can still be productive will improve the chances of going full-time with it.

Niche Fields
