15 Side Gigs That Aren’t on Everyone’s Radar but Can Make You Extra Money

Published:

We are all looking for ways of putting extra money into our pockets, and doing side hustles is the way to go. However, almost everywhere you look (especially online) seems to be flooded with people offering or seeking to offer similar services, and this greatly affects your earning potential.

It can be discouraging. But before you give up, here are some of the not-so-saturated side hustle ideas you could try today.

You may have to look harder for low-saturation areas and do not be afraid of getting your hands dirty if you want to become a handyman. Some handymen gigs can pay u to $80/hr depending on where you live. You may need some money to start off when creating a handyman business. You need basic tools and business cards for advertising. Ask people to hire you. Ask local restaurants and coffee shops if you can leave some cards there, post on Facebook that you’re looking for work, etc.

Take the easy jobs. Assembling Ikea furniture pays the same as remodeling a bathroom. Set your hourly rate, and don’t accept less.
